Prices are generated by Uber Freight’s proprietary algorithm. This algorithm is based on real time market data which sets the most competitive prices at the time.
Sometimes, Uber Freight is willing to accept bids either manually or through the app and web portal. If a bid is not accepted, Uber Freight’s pricing algorithm will automatically send the carrier a counteroffer to try to agree on a price.
After load details (such as the weight, number of pallets, destination, etc.) are entered into the system, the app will produce an instant quote that is available for 15 minutes. While we do our best to honor all quotes, prices may change based on delivery timing and carrier availability.
