Paying for our trips

When are we billed and when do we pay?

By default, your account is set up to pay per trip. Pay-per-trip organisations are charged for each trip as it's completed to the default credit card on file. Monthly billing allows you to pay for all your trips for a month in a single payment.

You'll receive the statement on the first day of the following month and have seven days to review the statements. The default credit card on file will be charged on the 8th of the month.

How do you know if you're eligible for monthly billing?

If your organisation is eligible for monthly billing: You'll receive an email notification.

A banner/notification will appear on the "Billings" tab or home page at business.uber.com, prompting you to apply.

How do you apply for monthly billing?

  1. Sign in to business.uber.com.
  2. Go to the Billings tab.
  3. Click Get started on the banner at the top to apply for monthly billing.
  4. In the pop-up window, review how monthly billing works.
  5. Click Set up monthly billing.
  6. Enter your company details.
  7. Review and agree to the terms and conditions.
  8. Review the credit limit assigned for the organisation
  9. Click Submit.

Once submitted, we'll evaluate your request and your organisation will be successfully enrolled for monthly billing.

How do monthly billing payments work?

Your default payment method will be automatically charged on the 8th of each month for the previous month's usage. You also have the option to make a manual payment at any time before the 8th, especially if you're approaching your credit limit.

Note: Your organisation's home currency will apply to all transactions and cannot be changed after onboarding.

How are credit limits assigned?

When you apply for monthly billing, Uber for Business evaluates your organisation to determine a suitable credit limit.

This helps ensure that your account has enough spending capacity to support your business needs throughout the month while maintaining responsible usage.

What If you're not eligible yet?

If you don't see the option to apply, your account will remain on pay-per-trip billing. To improve your chances of becoming eligible in the future, we recommend:

  • Increasing usage on your account.
  • Maintaining a strong payment history.
  • Avoiding any chargebacks or fraudulent activity.

Payment method notes

The default payment method for monthly billing is a credit card. If you'd prefer to pay by bank transfer, the payment method is currently only supported for organisations with a dedicated account manager.

If you want to make monthly payments via bank transfer, get in touch with Uber Health at support@health.uber.com (US) or uk-help@health.uber.com (UK).

Note: Universal Air Travel Plan (UATP) cards are not eligible for monthly billing. For Uber Health, enrolment in monthly billing is required during account set-up
