Direct deposit setup help

When you set up a direct deposit with Uber on wallet.uber.com, Uber will send a text message with a unique 4-digit PIN to your phone to verify your identity. This PIN is a security measure to protect your banking information.

If the message didn’t arrive to your phone number, you may need to update your phone number on your Uber account to get the PIN verification to update your banking information.

To update your phone number in the Driver app:

  1. Select the menu icon (3 horizontal lines) in the top left corner
  2. Select Account > Manage Uber Account > Phone number
  3. Update your phone number
  4. Select Update

If you still can’t update the phone number on your account or didn’t receive a text message from Uber, please answer the security question below and the phone number you wish to use. We’ll be happy to update it for you.
