Here’s a quick guide to help you get your Uber App back working:
Forcing the app to close
Follow these simple steps if your Uber App freezes or crashes:
Force quit the app:
- For iPhone: Swipe up on the home screen, then swipe up again on the Uber App to close it
- For android: Open the list of apps running in the background, then swipe the Uber App off the screen or tap Force Stop
Restart your device:
- Hold the power button down until options appear
- Choose to power off your phone, then wait a few seconds
- Press and hold the power button again to turn your device back on
