Your tax documents are available on the Eats Manager website. Please go to merchants.ubereats.com, select Settings, and then Tax/Invoice.
Your annual tax documents will be available by January 31. You’ll get an email when they’re ready for downloading.
You will receive a 1099-K form if your gross earnings from orders are $5,000 or more. For further information, please refer to the IRS website.
If you’ve earned $600 or more from non-eater payments, such as referrals or promotions, you will receive a 1099-NEC form from Uber. Please visit IRS.gov for additional details.
The Uber tax summary gives a breakdown of your annual earnings and business expenses that might be tax-deductible. What you can deduct depends on how your business is set up.
No need to worry: the amount on your 1099 form won’t match what was deposited in your bank account because the deposits reflect your net earnings.
The 1099-K shows your gross payments (the total amount Uber Eats users paid for orders). Some of the fees deducted from your gross earnings may be tax-deductible. You can find these details in your annual Uber tax summary.
To check or update your legal name, Tax Identification Number (TIN), and address, go to merchants.ubereats.com, select Settings, then Tax/Invoice, and go to the Tax Settings tab.
If you prefer to receive a physical copy of your 1099 form, you can opt in by December 31. To do so, please visit merchants.ubereats.com, select Settings, then Tax/Invoice, and go to the Tax Settings tab. Within the IRS Substitute W-9 section, select Yes for the 1099 tax forms delivery” option.
