To change the name, email, phone number, or password for your Uber user account:

1. Open the app menu and tap on “Settings”
2. Tap the bar that shows your name, phone number and email
3. Choose the information you want to change
4. Make the changes and tap “Save”

HOW TO CONFIRM UPDATES TO MY ACCOUNT

We use confirmation codes to help ensure that you are the one making the updates to your account. The following may happen depending on the information you want to modify:

• Phone number: you will receive a confirmation code by SMS. Enter the code in the app to confirm the update.
• Email (iOS only): we will send a confirmation code to your new email address. Enter the code in the app to confirm the update.
