This feature allows you to request a delivery and share it with one more user who has a similar delivery route. After a delivery partner pick up all the items, the app will find the most efficient route to complete every delivery. By doing so, we can offer you affordable delivery fares while improving the overall efficiency of Uber Flash.
Item Package restrictions:
To ensure the best experience for all the parties involved, this feature allows a maximum of two deliveries to be batched at the same time. Consider the following items characteristics that you will able to send:
After you place a delivery request, it is put on hold (for up to 1 hour maximum) while the system looks for other requests that might share a similar delivery route and that could be batched together. If the search is unsuccessful, the delivery will be completed as a regular Uber Flash delivery, but the fare will remain as offered.
The guidelines for items to be sent are the same as a regular Uber Flash delivery and can be found in the article: “What items can I send via Uber Flash?”. However, consider that the Delivery partner will be carrying other items inside the vehicle, so we suggest not to send items that are too large or heavy.

To ensure the best experience for all the parties involved, deliveries with multiple drop off locations are disabled within this feature.
Once you have confirmed the drop off location of your trip request, you won’t be able to change it later and the delivery partner will finish the delivery in the location you choose. So we suggest you to verify it before confirming the trip. Estimated times of delivery and fare are calculated in advance to help users and delivery partners in coordinating the delivery and avoiding inconveniences.
By opting for Uber Flash Economy deliveries, you will be able to send items paying a fare percent lower than a regular Uber Flash delivery, but with longer pick up and drop off times.
We always suggest users to carefully pack and secure their items, as well as label them to facilitate the delivery process. That being said, if delivery partners aren’t sure on what item to deliver, they should contact you for instructions.
-Uber Flash Economy is exclusively for item delivery and can’t replace an UberX ride. If you request by mistake and don’t wish to use it for this purpose, please cancel the trip.
-If the delivery PIN has been activated for the trip, you will be able to see it in your application. **You will need to tell this PIN to the delivery partner to ensure that the item is delivered to the correct person. **
-If the receiver doesn’t provide the PIN correctly, the partner may deny the delivery of the item. For situations like this we recommend that you give the PIN to the receiver. Alternatively, the partner can finish the trip, keep the item with him and reach out for support, which will coordinate a return trip for the delivery item, afterwards with an additional cost.
-Drivers can wait until 10 minutes at the drop off location, we strongly recommend receivers to get ready before the partner arrives.
