Someone is having trouble joining the account

For instructions on what to do when employees have trouble linking to the company account, see the sections below.

Employee meals and travel

If employees that will use the account for meal or travel purposes are having trouble linking their personal Uber account to your organization’s account, try the following:

  1. Resend the invite. The email address may have expired, or the email may have accidentally been deleted or sent to spam.
  2. Make sure they sign in with their existing account credentials. If they don’t have an Uber account, they’ll need to create a new one before they can link to the company account.
  3. Make sure they use the correct email link. When you invite someone to join the company account, they can only join using the unique link in the email they received from Uber. Forwarded links won’t work.

If the employee has an existing Uber account, they will receive an email to both their personal and work email addresses so they can link their accounts.

How to verify account linking

An employee can verify whether they linked to the company account in the Uber app (for travel programs) or Uber Eats app (for meal programs).

In the Uber app:

  1. On the main screen, tap the menu icon to open the main menu.
  2. Select “Wallet” and scroll down to “Ride profiles”.
  3. The business account should be listed.

In the Uber Eats app:

  1. On the main screen, tap the address dropdown.
  2. Scroll down to “Profile” and tap “Switch” or the personal profile.
  3. The business account should be listed. If the employee doesn’t see the “Profile” section or the business account listed, they haven’t properly linked to the company account.

If the employee linked to the account but doesn’t see the company profile in the app, they should force quit and restart the app.

Corporate memberships aren’t available to self-service organizations. If you have an issue seeing your membership benefits, please contact us below for help.

Uber Health and Central

If coordinators already have an Uber account, they’ll get an email (to both their personal and work address). They should select Sign in instead of Create new account. If they forgot their password, they can reset it here.

If your employees don’t want to use their personal account or don’t have a mobile phone number, contact Uber for Business at business-support@uber.com or, if you’re enrolled in Uber Health, support@health.uber.com (US) or uk-help@health.uber.com (UK). We’ll update your account to allow employees to sign up using their work email address.
