Customize CSV Transactional Reports

The Reports tab in the Uber for Business dashboard allows you to export transaction data in CSV format. This guide outlines the 2 methods available for customizing these reports: as an Uber for Business Administrator, you can generate one-off custom reports for specific timeframes or customize the format of monthly statement CSVs.

Ad-Hoc Custom Report

Use this feature if you need to extract data for a specific date range or filter by a specific group, location, or program, or if you need specific data columns in your report.

To create an ad-hoc custom CSV report:

  1. Sign in to the Uber for Business Dashboard.
  2. Go to the Reports & Insights tab in the menu.
  3. Go to Reports.
  4. Select Create report.
  5. Add filters:
    • Required: Select the start and end dates.
    • Optional: Select Name, Location, or Program.
  6. Customize the data columns:
    • Select the checkboxes for the desired data columns to keep.
    • Drag and drop the column names to rearrange their order in the final CSV.
  7. Select Create report.
  8. Once the report is ready, go to the Custom report tab and select Download.

Note: Creating an ad-hoc report does not change your monthly scheduled report settings.

Customize the Monthly CSV Report

Use this feature to change the format of the automatic CSV report generated on the 1st of every month.

To customize the monthly CSV report:

  1. Sign in to the Uber for Business Dashboard.
  2. Go to the Reports & Insights tab.
  3. Go to Reports
  4. Switch to the Scheduled report settings sub-tab.
  5. Select Edit.
  6. Modify Columns:
    • To remove: Select the X to the right of a column name to remove it.
    • To rearrange: Drag and drop columns to change the order.
  7. Review your changes and select Save Report Settings.

Note:

  • Changes made to the settings will only apply to future monthly CSV reports that are generated on the 1st of the upcoming month. Past CSV reports remain unchanged.
  • You can download the monthly scheduled reports from the Billing tab.
  • The custom CSV feature only allows to select/remove/re-arrange the existing CSV columns, however, does not allow creating a new column that does not exist in current CSV structure.
  • The feature to update the “Monthly Scheduled Report” is restricted for Mexico organizations with Consolidated Invoicing enabled, as any changes to the monthly CSV report could‌ potentially cause issues in the invoice process. Please use “Custom reports” to generate ad-hoc reports as needed.
