What is a Drive Pass

Drive Pass is a mandatory feature in some cities to take trips on the platform. If you’re eligible, you need to purchase a Drive Pass before you can start driving with the platform as a driver. To know more about eligibility, please refer to your app.

Would a Drive Pass still be deducted if I don’t take trips on the platform and just go online?

Drive Pass is a mandatory feature in some cities to take trips on the platform . If you are eligible for a Driver pass, the Drive Pass is activated and the pass amount is deducted if you buy it through the app or take a trip on the platform when the pass was not live. If you’re online but don’t take any trips, you won’t be charged for a Drive Pass.

What are the different types of Drive Pass?

Available Subscription Options

  • 24-Hour Driver Pass
  • 72-Hour Driver Pass
  • 4- Hour pass Pass is also live but only for select cities

All types allow to take unlimited trips during the selected period and come with extra earnings opportunities.

How do I get the Drive Pass?

Drive Pass can be bought in cities where it is live only by partners eligible for it. This can be done in two ways:

1. Manual Purchase

  • Buy the Driver Pass directly from the app.
  • Select Drive Pass from the menu.
  • Choose the pass option.
  • Check for perks.
  • Complete the purchase.
  • You’ll receive a confirmation and can start driving.

2. Auto Opt-in

  • If a trip is taken without an active Driver Pass, a 24-hour Driver Pass is automatically activated.
  • The Drive pass amount is deducted from your Wallet or your partner’s Wallet. -This ensures you can take unlimited trips during the selected period - Note: Auto opt-in only triggers after you complete a trip. Just going online won’t activate the Drive Pass.

I want to cancel, deactivate, or transfer my pass.

Once purchased, a Drive Pass can’t be canceled, deactivated, or transferred. The Drive Pass is now mandatory for eligible driver partners to take trips on the platform.

Why is the Drive Pass getting deducted daily?

Drive Pass is mandatory in some cities to take trips on the platform for eligible driver partners. If a 24-hour Drive Pass is purchased, a new pass will be required to continue driving after the previous one expires. If the Drive Pass is available in your city and you’re eligible but haven’t bought a pass, when you take your first trip, a 24-hour Drive Pass will get activated automatically, and the amount will be deducted from your or your partner’s account. If you drive frequently on the platform, a 72-hour pass may be more cost-effective, as it covers 3 days in a single purchase.

To know more about your Drive Pass details, open the menu and tap on Drive Pass. The details would be available for you to see if you are eligible for a Drive pass

I made the payment for a pass for the day, but why am I still not getting enough trips?

Purchasing a Drive Pass gives you access to take unlimited trips on the platform, but the number of trips you receive can depend on several factors, such as rider demand in your area, time of day, and traffic conditions. While the Drive Pass allows driver partners to stay connected and drive without restrictions, trip volume may vary based on market conditions. To increase your trip frequency, try the following:

  • Drive during extra-point hours.
  • Stay in high-demand areas.
  • Keep your app updated.
  • Respond quickly to trip requests.
  • Avoid skipping or canceling the trips
