Paying Uber for Cash Rides
When you receive cash payments from Users, remember that you need to transfer a portion of this to Uber. This amount is labeled as “Outstanding Balance” in the “Transaction History” section of the app. When it’s time to settle this balance, the app will prompt you to send the payment to Uber.
How to pay your balance

Through the app:
- Open the payment option.
- Double-check that the payment amount is correct, tap “PAY” and then confirm by tapping “CONFIRM”.
- If your preferred payment method isn’t listed, select “ADD PAYMENT METHOD” and choose “CREDIT OR DEBIT CARD”.
At OXXO stores:
- Choose “OXXO PAY” as your payment option.
- Confirm the correct payment amount and continue until a payment code is generated.
- Visit any OXXO store, show the code at the counter, and pay the specified amount.
- This must be done within 7 days after receiving the notification. You can find the due date in your inbox.
- To modify the payment amount, click the pencil icon in the payment amount box and enter the new amount.
Remember to settle your balance on time to ensure a smooth experience with the Uber app.
