Criteria for adding a vehicle to the platform
In accordance with the French Transport Code, Uber checks that the type of vehicle used complies with the criteria set out in the legislation (depending on the activity carried out). The following vehicles can be added to our platform:
Electric or gasoline hybrid vehicles:
In accordance with VTC regulations, all models of hybrid gasoline and electric vehicles are accepted.
For alternative fuels: If they are mentioned in the eligible fuel types in the Green section (hydrogen, superethanol…)
Gasoline vehicles :
- If they comply with VTC regulations (5 to 9 seats; minimum length 4.5 m; minimum width 1.7 m; at least 4 doors; power 84kW)
- Are less than 7 years old
- If present in the UberX section model list
Diesel and hybrid diesel vehicles (Sedan, Van and Access only):
- If they comply with VTC regulations (5 to 9 seats; minimum length 4.5 m; minimum width 1.7 m; at least 4 doors; power 84kW)
- If they are less than 7 years old (except when eligible for options).
Reminder: since January 2022, the addition of diesel or diesel hybrid vehicles is no longer possible on the platform (unless they are eligible for the Sedan, Van or Access ranges, due to the limited number of hybrid or electric models currently available for these categories).
Before continuing :
- Consult the list of accepted vehicles on the application. If the vehicle is on this list, there is no need to fill in the form.
- Requests to access or add a range not present in your city will not be considered.
- This form allows you to add a vehicle model for the VTC activity that is not available on the list of accepted vehicles. .
