Does my Uber Cash balance expire?
Your Uber Cash balance won’t expire only if it was acquired from paying with credit or debit card or with Uber gift cards.
If you receive monthly credits from your company as part of Uber Benefits, your balance has a expiration date of 2 years.
Any credits you get from promotions also have a specific expiration date, depending on each occasion.
Does Uber Cash apply to family or business profiles?
At the moment, Uber Cash is not available on family plans or business profiles. It’s only applicable for personal accounts.
Can I use my Uber Cash in other countries?
It’s only available on the currency you acquired your Uber Cash credits. If you travel to another country with a different currency, you won’t be able to pay with Uber Cash, but your balance will always be available for you when you get back home.
What happens if my Uber Cash balance is lower than the lease price?
In case your Uber Cash balance is lower than the total amount of the order, you must add credits to pay for it.
You can do so directly on your Uber App with a credit or debit card charge, or you can also add an alternative payment method to pay for the remaining amount not covered by your credits.
Once I added Uber Cash to my account, can I still use other payment methods?
Yes, even if you have a positive balance in your Uber Cash account, you can choose any other payment method.
To select your payment method, go to the option “Payment” from de main menu in your Uber App, select your profile and change the default payment method.
Where can I see the statement of my Uber Cash balance usage?
Inside the option “Your orders” you can review a complete history and each’s payment methods.
You can see your balance by going to menu and selecting “Payment”. It will show the remaining amount to be used.
I want to delete my Uber account but I still have balance in Uber Cash, what can I do?
If you wish to cancel your Uber account, but still have Uber Cash credits, make sure to use it before asking for the cancelation.
