To update your personal details for tax purposes, you can edit your tax settings in the Uber Driver app or the web driver portal here.

When submitting updates to your tax settings, please be sure to only select the checkboxes that apply to you.

The Backup Tax Withholding box should only be selected if one of the following applies:

• You have a B notice from the IRS. This means the IRS found that your tax information on the 1099 doesn’t match their records, usually due to missing or incorrect details that weren’t updated by the deadline.
• You opted into withholding via self-certification.Your tax profile is invalid due to missing or incorrect information that doesn’t match IRS records.

Once you update your information in the Tax Settings, we’ll process the changes and refresh your form on your tax dashboard.
