Carrier Insurance Requirements

Insurance requirements include:

• At least $1,000,000 in auto liability coverage and $100,000 in cargo liability coverage

• Reefer breakdown coverage for reefer carriers

To update existing insurance: Your insurance provider must send your updated Certificate of Insurance to RMIS.

Your Certificate of Insurance must include:

• Policy number
• Coverage amount ($1,000,000 auto and $100,000 cargo)
• Policy expiration date
• RMIS listed as a certificate holder
