Traveling with infants and young children

Rider responsibilities:

• Riders traveling with young children must provide a car seat as per our Community Guidelines
• Comply with all local child transportation laws

Driver choices:

• Drivers may choose to allow child safety seats
• If a rider doesn’t have a car seat and it’s against local laws or you’re uncomfortable, you can politely refuse the service.

Car seat service:

• In select cities, riders can request a vehicle equipped with a car seat by selecting the Car Seat option in the app when booking
• Car Seat trips must be reserved in advance and have a $10 surcharge

If you have to cancel a trip to comply with local car seat laws, you can let us know. Trips canceled because a rider doesn’t have the required car seat may incur a cancellation fee.
