Review my cancellation payment

HOW DO I CHECK IF I WAS CHARGED A CANCELLATION PAYMENT?

1. Tap the menu icon, then tap "Your Trips"
2. Under "Past Leases", tap the canceled lease
3. Tap "Receipt"

-If you were charged a cancellation payment, it will appear in your receipt
-If you were not charged a cancellation payment, the leasing price will show as $ 0.


WHY WAS I CHARGED BEFORE THE LEASING OCCURED?

When you arrange a leasing through the Uber app, a temporary charge may be debited in the payment method you choose.

This charge is an authorization hold and serves to confirm that your payment method is active and valid. The authorization is automatically canceled a few minutes after being charged.
