California Coronavirus Financial Assistance

We are introducing a COVID-19 related financial assistance program for California drivers who have driven at least 360 hours en route or on-trip between March 4th, 2019 and March 2nd, 2020 and at least 20 hours per week en route or on-trip during any 8 non-consecutive weeks between November 4th, 2019 and March 2nd, 2020.

Drivers who meet this criteria will be sent a separate email notifying them that they are eligible for $360 if they:

- Have tested positive for having an active case of COVID-19,
- Are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19,
- Need to self-quarantine because they believe they may have been exposed to COVID-19 or live with someone who may be sick with COVID-19 or may have been exposed to COVID-19, or
- Have a pre-existing health condition that puts them at higher risk of suffering from COVID-19 complications (including being age 60 or over).

If you believe you are eligible based on the criteria above, but you do not receive an additional email regarding the program in the next 24 hours, please contact us using the form below.

Whether or not you are eligible for this program, you may be eligible for up to 14 days of financial assistance from Uber if you have completed a trip in the last 30 days and are sick with COVID-19 or have been individually ordered to self-quarantine because you are suspected to have COVID-19 or you have a preexisting health condition that puts you at higher risk of serious illness due to COVID-19.
