Uber partners with third-party providers Checkr, HireRight, and Samba Safety to conduct background checks in the United States.

Checkr background checks

• Check your status: Visit the Checkr Candidate Portal to see your background check status or to request a copy of your background check report

• Trouble accessing the portal?:

• Ensure you’re using the same email address and phone number you provided when you started your background check

• Look for an email from Checkr in the inbox of the email address you used

• Double-check for typos in your login credentials

• If you still can’t find your information, it’s possible your background check is being processed by HireRight or Samba Safety instead

• For updates on background checks handled by HireRight or Samba Safety:
• Log in to your Uber account and use the chat feature to speak with us directly about the status of your background check
