ExpressMatch is available at London Heathrow Airport Terminals 2, 3, 4 and 5, aimed at reducing rider and driver wait times.
When you’re waiting in the authorised vehicle area of London Heathrow Airport and are at the top of the queue, you may receive an alert asking you to head to the Express Waiting Area.
After accepting the alert, you need to head to the Express Waiting Area, at either Terminal 2, 3, 4 or 5. The app will advise you which short term car park to go to based on the rider’s pickup location. Look for the Uber signs to guide you. Once there, you need to wait for a rider request. Please note that wait times may vary.
You will only receive a ride request while at the pickup zone if you have accepted the “Head to the Express waiting area” alert before navigating to the pickup zone.
If drivers don’t confirm a certain amount of trip requests while waiting in the Express Waiting Area, the Uber app may tell them to go back to the original waiting area.
