To sign up to deliver with a bike or by walking, remember to review the below requirements carefully to make sure you’re eligible.

Basic requirements
- You must be at least 18 years old
- Have a valid U.S. driver’s license or state ID
- When signing up, be sure to choose ‘Delivery by bicycle or foot’ under transportation method
Setting up your account
- Provide your name, social security number, and birthdate in the Driver app
- Complete a background check to ensure everyone’s safety
- Background checks typically take 3-5 business days and are conducted by our third-party providers Checkr, HireRight, and Samba Safety
Document uploads
You’ll need to upload the following within 14 days of your first delivery. If not, you won’t be able to go online:
- A current U.S. driver’s license or state-issued ID card, please make sure:
- The photo is clear and your face is visible
- Full name matches the name on your profile
- All document edges are visible; no scans—only photos allowed
- Make sure the document is not expired or about to expire.
- A recent photograph of yourself
Getting started
- Once you pass your background check, and documents are in order, you’re all set to accept deliveries
