Siri Shortcuts

Apple’s Siri Shortcuts offer a safe way to interact with your smartphone while keeping your eyes on the road. This feature is entirely optional and is only available on iOS 12 and above.

Adding Siri Shortcuts to my app

Navigate to Settings > Desired shortcut > Done to add Shortcuts.

Available Siri Shortcuts

You can customize the “phrase” to whatever you wish, but the set of actions are set by us.

You can add any of the following commands as a Siri Shortcut:

  • Command: “Hey Siri, call customer on Uber”
    • Action: Calls the customer of your next request.
  • Command: “Hey Siri, Go Online with Uber”
    • Action: Puts you online to accept requests
  • Command: “Hey Siri, show Uber earnings”
    • Action: Opens the Earnings section of the app
  • Command: “Hey Siri, show Uber opportunities”
    • Action: Opens the Opportunities section of the app
  • Command: “Hey Siri, show Uber preferences”
    • Action: Opens your driving preferences
  • Command: “Hey Siri, show my Uber rating”
    • Action: Opens your driver profile, where you’ll see your rating
  • Command: “Hey Siri, show Uber inbox”
    • Action: Opens your messages Inbox

With Siri Shortcuts, you can’t currently create new shortcuts on Siri, start, end, or decline requests

Turning off Siri Shortcuts

Go to the Siri Settings screen within Carbon or by going to iOS native Shortcuts app on your iPhone.

Issues with Siri Shortcuts
