How do I activate my account?

How do I add shops to my account?
- Start by clicking on “+ New Delivery” at the top left of the screen.
- When selecting a location, click on “+ Add a location”.
- The “Create a location” box will appear on the right-hand side of the screen, prompting you to enter the account, location name, telephone number and address. Please note:The location name entered here will be seen by the delivery driver. We recommend that you use the format “Company name - Neighbourhood name”.
- Click on “Save” at the bottom of the “Create a location” box.
- Your location can now be used as a pick-up address when requesting deliveries.
How do I switch between different locations and accounts?
- Administrators and employees can switch between locations in the “Deliveries” tab to view all past and future orders. Locations represent unique physical shop locations.
- Administrator users can switch between accounts in the “Billing” tab to view up-to-date billing information.
How do I add users to my Uber Direct dashboard?
If you are an administrator: (Before adding users as “Employee”, make sure that at least one shop is registered on the dashboard).
- In the Admin view, click on “Users” at the bottom left or top right of the page.
- Click on “+ Invite”.
- The “Invite a user” window will appear. Please enter the first name, surname and e-mail address, then choose the user’s role (employee or administrator). The telephone number is optional and we advise against entering one as this can sometimes cause access problems.
- Click “Save” to add the user information.
- The new user will appear with “Pending” next to their name. The user will become active once they have joined the account via an email invitation from Uber.
Employee view: (The Employee user will receive an email invitation from welcome@uber.com with a link to join the Uber Direct account).
- Open the email and click “Join”.
- The email address will be pre-filled. Click on “Continue”.
- An invitation will appear asking you to enter a 4-digit code.
- Go to your inbox and look for the 4-digit code sent by admin@uber.com. (Note: be sure to check your junk mail if the email does not appear in your inbox).
- Enter the 4-digit code from your email in the Uber Direct prompt and click “Next”.
- Click “Ignore” when prompted to enter a phone number.
- Enter your first and last name.
- Read the terms of use and privacy notice, then click “I accept” to agree and to confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
How can I modify users via the dashboard?
- Go to the “Users” tab.
- Click on the three vertical dots to the right of the user you wish to modify.
- Click on “Modify”.
- Make changes to the user in the “Edit user” window, including the first name, last name and user type (employee or administrator). Please note: The user’s email address cannot be changed. To change the e-mail address of an existing user, please delete the user and add a new e-mail address.
How do I delete users via the dashboard?
- Go to the “Users” tab.
- Click on the three vertical dots to the right of the user you wish to delete.
- Click on “Delete”.
- A “Delete User” window will appear. Click “Delete” again.
- The user will no longer appear in the “Users” tab and will no longer have access to the account.
Where can I find my orders?
- Click on “Deliveries” and select the correct period (Past, Today or Coming soon).
- Select the pick-up location in the top right-hand corner.
- Select the date range in question.
- Click on the order you wish to view.
- The order will be displayed, showing the route, delivery charge, tip, list of items, delivery person, etc.
- If you select the proof of delivery option when creating the order, you will see a link to the photo when viewing the order (once it is complete).
How do I find a particular order in my dashboard?
- To search for orders, click on “Home”.
- You can search by order ID, name or recipient address.
- The order will be displayed, indicating the route, delivery charges, tip, list of items, delivery person, etc.
- If you select the proof of delivery option when creating the order, you will see a link to the photo when viewing the order (once it has been completed).
How do I find my internal order number and my Uber order number?
To obtain your internal order number, follow the steps below:
- Go to the “Deliveries” tab and click on the desired order.
- The internal order number is called “Company order ID”.
To obtain your Uber order number, proceed as follows:
- Go to the “Deliveries” tab and click on the desired order.
- For a current order, you will find the order number at the end of the external tracking URL (the last five characters correspond to the Uber order number).
- For completed orders, you will find the Uber order number at the top of the order details screen (under delivery charges). The Uber order number will be five characters long.
