Wait Time fees allow you to be compensated by riders for the time spent waiting at a pickup location.
These fees start 2 minutes after you arrive at your rider’s pickup location and are charged at a per-minute rate. If there is a surge multiplier in place, then that also applies to the Wait Time fee. However, if a rider is charged a cancellation fee, they won’t be charged for the wait time.
The Wait Time fee grace period and the no-show window start at the time of a driver’s arrival at a pick-up location. A driver’s arrival time is based on GPS coordinates, which don’t always match exactly with the real coordinates.
