To drive with Uber in New York City, you’ll need a Taxi and Limousine Commission license issued by the state.
To be approved for a this license, you must meet the eligibility requirements. Among these is the requirement that applicants must not have more than 5 points on their DMV license within a 15 month period from their most recent violation date.
