Booking Fee

The Booking Fee is a variable fee that helps support Uber’s regulatory, safety, and operational costs, such as the government-mandated commercial auto insurance we maintain on behalf of TNC/rideshare drivers and payment card fees.

The fee is based on various factors, including the trip’s origin city and distance, and is included in the price you see in the app before requesting a ride.

Time and distance pricing does not apply to Uber Reserve, which is paid as an upfront fare.

You can get a price estimate in your city with more details on specific booking fee costs for your trip using the below link.
