We encourage all types of honest and personal recommendations without limiting content based on its tone. However, content or behavior that could harm others, spread misinformation, or negatively impact the community is not allowed. By using Lists, you agree to:

- Authenticity and honesty: All recommendations must be genuine and based on personal experiences. Content that’s suspected to be fake, manipulated, misleading, or influenced by a conflict of interest will be removed. Users must not be affiliated with merchants, such as being an employee, paid influencer, relative, or having some other financial interest.
- Disclosure of material connections: Any material connections, such as payments or incentives provided to influencers or customers, must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. For example, use tags like “#UberEatsPartner” for paid partnerships.
- Prohibited content:
- Personal information: Don’t post personal information about you or others, including names, addresses, phone numbers, email addresses, and order numbers. For the safety of users, Lists with such content won’t be published.
- Discriminatory, derogatory, profanity, and harassment: Content (including emojis) that includes offensive language, harassment, threats, and hate speech, that is sexual in nature, discriminatory, or derogatory isn’t allowed. We’re committed to creating a safe and inclusive space for all users, regardless of race, gender, or background.
- Spam and promotional content: Content that’s promotional in nature or appears to be spam, such as repetitive posts or content created with the intention to promote a particular business, will be removed.
- Plagiarism and impersonation: Only post original content or content you have the right to share. Impersonation of others or posting unauthorized third-party intellectual property is prohibited.
- Follow the law: Content that has any unlawful purpose or solicits or facilitates illegal or prohibited transactions is prohibited.
- Relevance: Content must be relevant to your personal experience with the store food offerings such as quality, portions, and taste of items. Off-topic comments, including those about unrelated services (like courier feedback or order-related issues) or general complaints not related to the store experience, won’t be published.
- Safety and appropriateness:
- Recommendations shouldn’t contain sexually explicit content, violence, threats, or any references to illegal activities. All content must be appropriate for a diverse audience.
- Food safety: User recommendations on food allergies or dietary intolerances should note that their content reflects personal experience, and doesn’t guarantee allergen-free or safe options. Always check allergen and ingredient details with the store before ordering. Here’s an example of a disclaimer a user can include in their List: “Content reflects user’s personal experiences and doesn’t guarantee allergen-free or suitable options for all. Contact the store for specific allergen, dietary, or ingredient concerns.”
- Alcohol and restricted items: Recommendations shouldn’t contain content related to alcohol, tobacco, controlled substances, weapons, or any other restricted items. All content must comply with local laws and regulations.
- Content integrity: The platform won’t edit user-generated content. However, recommendations that don’t meet these guidelines won’t be published or may be removed.
- Content written in unsupported languages: We currently accept content only in English. Recommendations in other languages will be rejected, except when referring to a menu item originally listed in another language.
- Consequences for violations: Violations of these guidelines may result in actions, including non-publication, removal of the user’s List, or suspension of posting privileges, depending on the severity of the violation.
By following these guidelines, we aim to maintain a trustworthy, safe, and engaging platform for all users to share their Uber Eats’ merchants recommendations.
