Accessing Uber Health or Central

What is Central?

Central is a program that lets organizations centrally request, manage, and pay for rides for their customers, guests and clients.

What is Uber Health?

Uber Health complies with local health regulations (HIPAA in the US) to let healthcare organizations centrally request, manage, and pay for patient transportation, prescriptions, groceries, and over-the-counter items. Product availability varies by location.

Accessing Uber Health or Central

To access Uber Health or Central and arrange rides for others, the Uber Program Administrator needs to enable a customer or healthcare rides program at business.uber.com through Central or Health on the lefthand side.

Uber Health doesn’t support UATP payment methods. If your organization uses a UATP card, you will be prompted to add a different payment method.

For Coordinators

If you’re a coordinator (an admin has given you access to arrange guest or healthcare rides), the Uber Program Administrator will need to invite you to join the company account.

To access Uber Health or Central as a coordinator:

  1. Accept the email invite to join your company’s Uber for Business account.
    • If you have an Uber rider account, sign in with your existing Uber credentials. If you don’t, you’ll need to create an account. (Your personal ride information will never be shared with your company.)
  2. Go to health.uber.com or central.uber.com to arrange rides for others.
