Insights data and privacy

Your safety is a priority, so we collect the data needed to provide your driving insights dashboard. However, your privacy matters too.

Access to your driving insights data is limited.

• Riders and other drivers can’t see the data shown in this dashboard.
• Uber will not share your data with third parties beyond CMT unless we are required to do so for legal reasons.
• Uber doesn’t generally give police and other law enforcement agencies access to this information. However, we may have to provide it in some cases according to our public safety guidelines.

You can’t turn your driving insights dashboard off, but you don’t have to use it if you don’t want to.
