Tracking acceptance rates

Your acceptance rate reflects the number of trip requests you’ve accepted out of the last 100 exclusive requests sent directly to you (Trip Radar requests excluded).

For example, if you received 100 exclusive requests and accepted 90 of them, your acceptance rate is 90% (90/100).

  • If you’ve received fewer than 100 exclusive requests, your acceptance rate is calculated based on the total number of exclusive requests you’ve received since December 2021.
  • If you’ve received fewer than 10 exclusive requests since December 2021, your acceptance rate won’t be calculated until you’ve received at least 10 exclusive requests.
  • Expired or timed out trip requests count as rejections.

What is an exclusive trip request?

An exclusive trip request is a request that’s sent directly to you. You can choose to accept or deny it before it’s shown to other drivers. These are different from the trip requests you can pick up through Trip Radar.

Can I see a list of exclusive trip requests that I’ve declined?

We’re not able to send you a report that lists the exclusive trip requests that you’ve declined. You can figure out how many of your 100 most recent exclusive trip requests expired or were declined by subtracting your acceptance rate from 100.

Is my last 100 “trips” based on all requests offered to me on the Uber app?

The app considers all exclusive requests offered directly to you (both rides and deliveries) when it calculates your acceptance rate; it does not include trip radar in acceptance rate calculations.

Where can I see my acceptance rate and cancellation rate?

You can view your acceptance rate in the app by following the steps below:

  1. Tap your Profile Photo in the upper right hand corner of the Driver App
  2. Next, locate your Profile Photo near the top of the app and tap it again
  3. You’ll now see your Driver Rating, Acceptance rate, and Cancellation rate, in that order
  4. Tap the number in the middle to view a detailed breakdown of your Acceptance Rate

How can I change my acceptance rate?

To change your rates, you need to replace older trips that affect your ratings with new trips that affect your ratings in the other direction.

Acceptance rates are calculated based on your last 100 applicable trip requests. This means that each new request accepted or declined “pushes out” the oldest one from that calculation.

  • Acceptance Rate: The key to increasing your acceptance rate is to consistently accept exclusive trip requests. As older rejections fall outside of your last 100 requests—and as long as you avoid new rejections—your rate will increase
