Updating your service hours, address, and phone number

Update Account Information

Verify your account information in Uber Eats Orders through your tablet. Follow the steps below to change your store phone number, address, and pickup instructions.

  1. In your Uber Eats Orders select the menu icon in the top left corner. The icon is a square with three horizontal white lines.
  2. Select Settings > Go to Store Info.
  3. Edit the fields
  4. Make sure to click Save.

Update Pickup Instructions

To change pickup instructions in Uber Eats Manager:

  1. Navigate to the Store page.
  2. Select Store Info.
  3. To update existing delivery instructions, select Edit.
  4. To add new instructions, select Add.
  5. Set default instructions for both the delivery person and the customer.
  6. Choose how a delivery person should pick up orders using the dropdown.
  7. Enter detailed delivery instructions (for example: “Use side door marked Delivery between 12–2 PM”) under Additional Notes.

To change pickup instructions in Uber Eats Orders:

  1. Go to the Settings tab.
  2. Select Store Info.
  3. To update existing delivery instructions, select Edit.
  4. To add new instructions, select Add.
  5. Set default instructions for both the delivery person and the customer.
  6. Choose how a delivery person should pick up orders using the dropdown.
  7. Enter detailed delivery instructions (for example: “Use side door marked Delivery between 12–2 PM”) under Additional Notes.

To set dynamic scheduled pickup instructions:

  1. In either Uber Eats Manager or Uber Eats Orders, find the Scheduled instructions section.
  2. For Uber Eats Manager > Go to Store Page > Store Info > Select add or edit next to Delivery partner instructions or Customer pickup instructions > Scheduled instructions.
  3. For Uber Eats Orders > Go to Settings > Store Info > Select add or edit next to Delivery partner instructions or Customer pickup instructions > Scheduled instructions.
  4. Select Add New Instruction.
  5. Under How should a delivery person pick up the order, select an appropriate pickup method using the dropdown.
  6. Enter detailed delivery instructions (for example: “Use side door marked Delivery between 12–2 PM”) under Additional Notes.
  7. Under Time Range, select a Start Time and End Time for that pickup instruction to apply, ensuring there’s no overlap.
  8. Select your days.
  9. Make sure to click Save.
  10. Add other scheduled instructions by following the same steps above.

Note: If there is an error, check for overlaps in instructions. Ensure the instructions are mutually exclusive. Default instructions must be set in order to add dynamic instructions. Pickup instructions must be in one language only.

Turn Off Delivery Indefinitely

If you will not be operating for an extended period of time, the best option for you is to log out of your tablet to turn your store offline.

To do this, click the icon of three horizontal lines, then go to Settings > Log out.

When you decide to turn delivery on again, you simply need to log back into the tablet.

Update Service Hours

  1. Log into Uber Eats Manager using your login, password and PIN.
  2. On the left side of your screen, select Menu.
  3. Tap on the Overview tab.
  4. Click the dropdown arrow beside the Menu title under the Overview tab to select which menu’s hours you would like to edit.
  5. Once you have selected your menu by clicking on it, click the Edit button (with a gear icon) on the right of the screen beside Menu Hours.
  6. Edit your menu hours for each day.
  7. Click Save at the top-right corner.

If you will be continuing to operate your business, but you need to extend or shorten your hours, you can use Holiday Hours to make those adjustments.

Update Holiday Hours

  1. Log into your Uber Eats Manager using your login, password, and PIN.
  2. Navigate to the Store page > Select Store info or Navigate to Settings > Select Holiday Hours.
  3. Select Add next to Holiday hours.
  4. Input the Start Date and End Date for the holiday.
  5. Choose “Closed All Day” when the store is fully closed, otherwise, select “Open with Special Hours” and input the Open time and Closing time.
  6. Add other holidays by following the same steps above.
  7. Make sure to click Save.

If you will be continuing to operate your business, but will be closed on specific days, you can use Holiday Hours to make those adjustments.

Note: Updated holiday hours take priority over normal menu hours, including stores that are POS Integrated.

Update Service Hours - POS Integrates Stores

If your store is POS integrated, all store hour information is stored directly in your POS system which we’re unable to access.
