How do I add stores on the Direct Dashboard?

  1. Begin to place an order as usual by clicking “+ New Delivery” on the top left of the screen.
  2. When selecting location, click “+ Add location”
  3. “Create location” will pop up on the right side of the screen, prompting you to enter the Account, Location name, Phone number, and Address. When adding a location name, keep in mind that this is what delivery partners will see when picking up your order. We recommend using the following nomenclature: Business Name - Neighborhood Name (e.g. Arthur’s Pizza - Sydney CBD).
  4. Click “Save” at the bottom of the “Create location” tab.
  5. Your location is now usable as a pick up address when requesting deliveries!

How do I toggle between locations and accounts?

Admin and Employee users can toggle between locations within the “Deliveries” tab to view all past and future deliveries. Locations represent unique physical store locations.

Admin users can toggle between accounts within the “Billing” or “Users” tab.

How do I add users?

Please note, only Admin users can add new users to your Uber Direct account.

How to add users:

Before adding Employee users, ensure that at least one location has been created on your account.

  1. Within the Admin view, navigate to the “Users” tab
  2. Click on “+ Add”
  3. The “Add a user” box will appear. Please enter the first name, last name, email address, and choose the role of the user (Employee or Admin). Phone number is optional and we do not recommend entering one
  4. Click “Save” to add the new user
  5. The new user will appear with a “Pending” indication beside their name

How to join your Uber Direct Account:

  1. The user will receive an email invitation with a link to join your Uber Direct account. Click “Join.”
  2. Enter the email address that the invitation was sent to and click “Continue.”
  3. A prompt will appear asking you to enter a 4-digit code. Check your inbox for an email with the 4-digit code. If the email doesn’t appear in your inbox, check your junk folder.
  4. Enter the 4-digit code and click “Next.”
  5. And once you have completed the sign in process, you will have access to your Uber Direct account

How do I edit users?

  1. Navigate to the “Users” tab and click the three vertical dots on the far right beside the user you want to edit.
  2. Click “Edit.”
  3. An “Edit user” box will appear. Make any changes to the user including, first name, last name, and user type (Employee or Admin). Please note, email address is unchangeable. To change an email address of an existing user you will need to create a new user.

How do I delete users?

  1. Navigate to the “Users” tab and click the three vertical dots on the far right beside the user you want to delete.
  2. Click “Delete.”
  3. A “Delete user” box will appear. Click “Delete” again.
  4. The user will no longer exist. The user will not appear in the “Users” tab and will no longer have access to your account.

How do I create deliveries?

  1. Click “+ New Delivery” at the top left of the page.

  2. Fill in the pick-up details:

    • Schedule the pick-up: Pick-ups can either be “ASAP” or scheduled in advance.
    • Select the pick-up location for the order: The last used pick-up location will automatically be populated. To add a new location, click “+ Add location”.
    • Notes for pick-up address: We highly recommend adding detailed pick-up instructions for the delivery person
  3. Fill in the dropoff details:

    • Add the full dropoff address: We highly recommend adding detailed drop-off instructions to help the delivery person complete the order to your customer
    • Add the first and last name of the recipient
    • Add a recipient contact number
  4. Fill in package information:

    • Add Store Order ID (optional)
    • Add approximate package weight and description: We highly recommend adding this, if your package is heavy our system will recognize it and provide you a car instead of a motorbike or bicycle.
  5. Fill in delivery details:

    • Check the box to indicate whether the order is eligible for a return if the recipient is unavailable. Additional fees will apply for return trips.
    • Advanced delivery options: Proof of delivery options include; photo proof (highly recommended), pin code verification, barcode scanning and signature.
  6. Click “Request now”

  7. Review all the delivery details and click “Confirm” to submit

Can I request for a package to be returned?

If the customer is not available to accept the delivery and you would like an order to be returned, please check “Return order if customer is not available”.

Additional fees will apply for return trips.

How does Proof of Delivery work?

Proof of Delivery options include:

  • Require ID check (do not use unless required by law or regulation, e.g. for orders containing alcohol items)
  • Require photo proof (highly recommended)
  • Require pin code verification
  • Require signature
  • Require barcode scanning

These proof of delivery options help confirm that the customer has received the order. You will see confirmation of the chosen proof-of-delivery method in your delivery history.

Can I request multiple delivery people?

If your delivery contains large items, you have the ability to request multiple Delivery People.

How can I view my deliveries?

  1. To view deliveries, navigate to the Home Page or select the delivery’s respective status tab (Today, Future, Past)
  2. To switch between locations, click the drop-down box at the top right. The last used pick-up location will automatically be populated.

How can I cancel a delivery?

To cancel or reschedule a delivery, find the relevant delivery, and click “Cancel” at the bottom right.

How can I search for a delivery?

  1. To search deliveries, navigate to the Home Page
  2. Use the search filters and click “Search”
  3. The deliveries will appear below, showing the status and delivery details, including the proof of delivery (if applicable).

How do I add a payment method?

Please note, only Administrators can add new payment methods to your Uber Direct account

  1. Navigate to the “Billing” tab
  2. Click “+ Add card.”
  3. Add credit card or debit card details.
  4. Click on “Add Card” to add your payment method.
  5. The new card should appear under “Payment method.” You are now able to create new delivery requests!

How do I delete a payment method?

Please note, only Administrators can delete payment methods from your Uber Direct account. To delete a payment method you must have at least two cards on file, your account requires one card on file at all times.

  1. Navigate to the “Billing” tab
  2. Click on the three vertical dots to the right of the payment method you would like to delete. Click “Delete.”
  3. The “Delete Payment Method?” pop up will appear. Click “Delete”.
  4. The payment method should no longer appear.

How do I set a default payment method?

  1. Navigate to the “Billing” tab
  2. Click on the three vertical dots to the right of the payment method you would like to set as default. Click “Set as Default.”
  3. The “Set as Default” pop up will appear. Click “Confirm.”
  4. Your payment method of choice should now be the default payment method.

How can I view my billing information?

  1. Navigate to the “Billing” tab

  2. The billing information available includes:

    • Billing frequency - how often you are billed
    • Statements - where you can manage statement recipients, download invoices and billing details reports
    • Past payments - where you can view your payment history
    • Payment method - where you can manage payment details
