Any tip made in-app, on riders.uber.com, or through your emailed trip receipt will be charged to the same payment method as your trip fare. This does not include vouchers. Vouchers from businesses cover the entire or partial cost of the trip price but don't cover tips to drivers. If you decide to tip a driver on a ride that was paid for with a voucher, the tip will be charged to your personal payment method.
