If any of the following error messages appear in your Uber app, we recommend that you change your payment method so that you can request leases again:
- “Failed request: card rejected”
- “Your payment method is not valid. Update payment settings”
- “There was an error processing your request”

OTHER TIPS THAT MAY HELP YOU:
- If you entered your card number incorrectly, update it in the WALLET menu of your Uber app.
- If your card has expired, you must delete it from your account and add a new one.
- If your account is out of balance, add Uber Money or register a new card.
CONTACT YOUR BANK IN THESE CASES:
- You’re abroad, and you haven’t authorized international transactions.
- The bank rejected Uber’s charge on suspicion of fraud.
- You’ve exceeded the withdrawal limit on your account.
- You’ve reported that your card has been lost or stolen.
