When you’re not familiar with a store, you may find shopping difficult. Here’s some info to help you out:
When customers place an order, they can indicate whether or not they want an item replaced if it’s out of stock. If a requested item is unavailable and your customer’s preference is to replace the unavailable item with a best match, the app will show you some suggested similar items based on historical user data. There’s also an option at the bottom of that list where you can manually enter an item to replace the missing item from the shopping list.
In some locations, you can also scan the barcode of the replacement you’re suggesting, instead of having to manually enter it.
Please note that the checkout payment might get declined if additional items are added and the customer did not ask for them.
Consumers will see a notice that the final price of the item is based on weight, and consumers see an estimated weight/price while they shop.
For items that depend on weight (e.g., a pepper) or quantity (e.g., avocados), when you select the item in the shopping list, you’ll see a screen where you can enter the weight or quantity so that the customer will pay the correct amount.
As you pick an item in the store, you can mark the item as ‘Found’ or ‘Unavailable’ in the app as you go through all the items in the shopping list. When picking an item, you can click on the item in the app to read the description. It will show you the item name, quantity, weight or size, and brand name, to compare against the item in-store. When the barcode scanning feature is available, you can scan the barcode of the product in the store to confirm whether it matches what your customer requested.

We (and your customers) thank you for picking produce that looks fresh.
