WHAT IS UBER PET? Uber Pet allows riders to bring a pet on their ride. If you accept Uber Pet rides, you’re allowing the rider to bring a pet into the vehicle.
NOTE: Uber Pet rides are for non-service animal pets. In accordance with Uber’s policies on service animals, service animals are permitted to accompany riders at all times without extra charge, regardless of whether it is a Pet Ride. Your federal and local laws may also require service animals to be accommodated without extra charge.
HOW DOES UBER PET WORK? Pet rides work similarly to UberX rides. The main difference is the presence of an animal. You’ll earn an extra fee for accepting Uber Pet Rides
HOW MANY PETS CAN A RIDER BRING? A rider is allowed to bring one pet on a Uber Pet ride.
WHAT KIND OF PETS ARE RIDERS ALLOWED TO BRING? Riders are allowed to bring one animal such as a dog, a cat, or any other animal classed as a domestic pet (such as a bunny or a guinea pig). Any other type of animal is up to the driver’s discretion.
HOW CAN I SECURE THE RIDE? Riders should have their pet’s official health card updated and stamped by a registered veterinarian as well as a pet restraint system, or leash to ensure safety during the ride. To prevent the ride from discomfort or distraction by a pet you need to install a pet separator in your vehiclcle.
