Long Pickup Premiums are charged for trips where drivers must travel a longer distance or time to reach the pickup location. This amount is estimated and included in your upfront price.
The quoted upfront price may change due to circumstances such as adding stops, updating your destination, significant changes to the route or trip duration, or passing through tolls not factored into your upfront price. Extra fees may apply for extended wait times at the pickup location or time spent at stops on multi-stop trips. Riders can view applicable rates, including the Long Pickup Premium, by selecting the upfront price, then Information in the app.
Long Pickup Premiums apply only to UberX, UberX Share, Uber Comfort, Uber Premier, and Uber Premier SUV, as well as UberXL in some markets.
Time and distance pricing does not apply to Uber Reserve, which is paid as an upfront fare.
As of August 10, 2022, multi-stop fees are not available in all US markets.
