What happens if the other party doesn’t pay? Will this affect my account?

As the requester, you will be automatically charged to the alternative payment method registered in the app.

If the debit/credit card doesn’t have enough funds, a pending amount will be generated to your account and you won’t be able to use other Uber products until the debt is paid.

What should the payer do if the final amount is higher than the initial amount and he/she doesn’t have enough money to pay?

If you do not have enough cash, change the payment method in the application before requesting the trip, as it is not possible to change it during or after the trip.

If you already requested the delivery, pay the amount that was told at the beginning and contact support to explain your case.

If you selected a cash trip by mistake and have not been able to make the payment to the Driver at the end of the trip, he can notify us through the application. If this happens, an arrear will be generated on your account that you will have to pay before starting a next trip.

Don’t worry, please go to “I had a problem with a cash payment” and he will give you the change in Uber Cash.
