QUESTION: How do I order Pickup?

When you open the Uber Eats app, choose the dining mode "Pickup" and select whether it will be an ASAP or scheduled order in the upper left-hand corner. You'll then be able to see the prep time, restaurant distance, price, and rating for Restaurants with a Pickup option.

In your cart, you can change dining modes at the check out screen by tapping on the mode. Once you've placed a Pickup order, you'll be notified when the Restaurant accepts the order, the estimated time the order will be ready, and when the order is ready for Pickup.

QUESTION: Where is my order identification number?

Every order has an order identification number. When you pick up the order, you should verify your order identification number with the Restaurant. The order identification number is located at the top of the tracking screen underneath your first name and last initial and on the receipt below the date.

All updates will be visible in the app. When the notification says "Order is ready for pickup or dine-in," then the order is ready.

Currently these options are only available in some locations. We will keep you updated in the future or these services being available in new areas.

QUESTION: Why doesn't a certain restaurant have these options?

Some restaurants aren't available for these options which can be due to several factors. To see which restaurants are available for each of the dining modes, please select the appropriate dining mode and search for restaurants/cuisine/dishes.

QUESTION: I accidentally ordered pick up when I meant to order delivery, what do I do?

If the restaurant hasn't accepted please cancel the order immediately in App. If they have accepted contact our support team for help.

Currently we cannot change the dining mode of live orders so please carefully check which mode you have selected. This can be seen on the order confirmation screen right under the map near the top of the screen.
