We want to contribute effectively so that the trans community is increasingly respected, included and represented inside and outside Uber. For this reason, Uber accepts your social name before you complete the process of name and gender changing in your legal documents.
To update your name, you should first have your legal documents approved on your profile:
1. Open your Uber Driver app.
2. Touch in your profile picture at the right top corner.
3. Go to "Account".
4. Go to "Documents".
5. Upload the document you want to send, or select "Take a picture".
Have in mind that to request the name change, you must have your account active.
After your documents are approved, you need to fill and send us the declaration below, to conclude your name change at your profile.
