How many pets can travel?

With Uber Pet you can travel a domestic pet. In case of being more than one, remember to coordinate with the User.

What types of pets can travel?

Uber Pet is mainly aimed at domestic pets such as dogs or cats, but remember that before accepting the trip, you can see what product it is, this will allow you to communicate with the User and coordinate the starting point, destination or in this case, if you can travel with more than one pet or one other than a dog or cat.

How should pets travel and what do I need to prepare?

On these trips we suggest that pets travel on a leash, harness or carrier to comply with local regulations.

We recommend having a mat or blanket ready in the trunk of your car for Uber pet rides; you can place it over the seat and foot areas in the back of your car. Do not forget to remove them at the end of your trip, to prepare yourself before going to the next departure point.

Users traveling with an accompanying pet (service), should they request Uber Pet to be able to travel with it?

No, Uber is an inclusive company, where you do not need to request an Uber Pet trip to ride with it.

Can the User’s pet travel alone in Uber Pet?

No, when requesting an Uber Pet trip, the User is responsible for taking care of the behavior and integrity of their pet. Uber will not be responsible for the pet. Uber Pet should not be used to transport unaccompanied pets.

How to stop receiving Uber Pet requests?

To stop receiving Uber Pet requests, follow these steps:

  1. Sign in to the Uber Driver app.
  2. Touch the Menu (the two horizontal lines).
  3. Select “Driving Preferences”.
  4. Remove the “Uber Pet” option.
  5. Done, now you will stop receiving Uber Pet rides.

What happens if a pet soils the vehicle?

If your report is related to pet hair, odor, or typical wear and tear, a cleaning fee will not be incurred.

But, if during the trip the pet soils the vehicle with vomit, urine, feces, has an incident or causes damage, the User may be subject to pay a cleaning fee according to the Terms and Conditions of use of the application.
