Editing or deleting a program

You can easily edit an existing program to update its details or restrictions.

Updating a Program

1. Sign in to business.uber.com.
2. Go to All Programs.
3. Select the program you want to update.
4. Select Edit.
5. Update details like budget, name, restrictions, or assigned people.
6. Select Save Changes.

Updates take effect immediately.

Deleting a Program

To remove a program:

1. Sign in to business.uber.com.
2. Go to All Programs.
3. Select the program to remove.
4. Select Delete.
5. A confirmation prompt will appear. Confirm that you want to permanently delete the program.

Note: Deleting a program removes it completely. Once deleted, it is permanent and cannot be undone. The users or groups previously assigned to it will no longer have access to that program’s benefits and the roles assigned to that program.

Activating/Deactivating a Program

1. Sign in to business.uber.com.
2. Go to All Programs.
3. Find the program and select the three dots.
4. Select Activate or Deactivate.

Can I edit a program’s restrictions after it’s been created?

You can edit an existing program to update its details or restrictions.

What happens to an employee’s access when a program is deleted?

The users or groups previously assigned to it will no longer have access to that program’s benefits and the roles assigned to that program.

Is deleting a program the same as disabling it?

Deleting a program is permanent and cannot be undone, it isn’t the same as disabling.

When do updates to a program take effect?

Program updates take effect immediately after you save your changes.

Can I update both program details and assigned people at the same time?

Yes. You can edit a program to update details such as its name, budget, restrictions, and assigned people.

What happens if I deactivate a program?

A deactivated program remains on your account, but it is no longer active until it is reactivated.

Can I reactivate a program after deactivating it?

Yes. Deactivated programs can be activated again from the All Programs page.

Should I deactivate or delete a program?

Deactivate a program if you may want to use it again later. Delete a program only if you want to remove it permanently.

Can I delete a program by mistake and restore it later?

No. Once a program is deleted, it cannot be restored.

Do I need to create a new program if I only want to change the budget or restrictions?

No. You can edit an existing program instead of creating a new one.

Will deleting a program remove it for everyone assigned to it?

Yes. Once deleted, the program is removed and assigned users or groups will no longer have access to that program.
