Prohibited Items for Uber Direct
When using Uber Direct, there are specific items that can’t be sent. The Merchant request to make sure your delivery doesn’t have any missing item, or includes any of the following:
- Cash: Cash transfers between individuals or businesses are not allowed, unless the written pickup or drop off notes explicitly says to charge the final user in cash. Avoid impacts on your account.
- Explosives: Any materials that can explode.
- Flammables: Products that can catch fire easily.
- Weapons: Any form of firearms or other weapons.
- Illegal Drugs: Substances that are prohibited by law.
- Living Creatures: This includes both animals and people.
- Toxins: Items that are poisonous.
- Lottery Tickets: Any form of gambling-related items.
- Film: Celluloid’s or similar materials.
- Postage Stamps: Except as part of mail through authorized deliverers.
- Valuables: Jewelry, precious metals, and stones.
- Artwork: Paintings and other artistic works.
- Contract Specific: Any other items mentioned in your contract with Uber Direct.
Make sure at all times that the items you intend to ship comply with local laws and regulations, as well as Uber Direct’s Terms and Conditions. Remember that you are not allowed to ship anything illegal or unsafe.
