Reasons for delay

Delays might occur if the vendor:

• Needs extra details: Sometimes, they may require more information to confirm your Social Security number or need you to upload a copy of your driver’s license

• Cannot verify your driving history: For Uber driving, you need at least one year of driving experience in the U.S. This increases to three years if you’re under 25. Learn how to provide proof of your licensing history here

• Requires additional information: If the background check vendor needs more information from you, they’ll reach out via email with instructions on what you need to provide.
