You may modify or cancel your Uber Rent reservations 48 hours before the reservation time. Please note that price and availability are not guaranteed and that specific restrictions apply to Uber Rent.
To modify your reservation (iOS):
- Select the “Car hire” option.
- Click “Your reservations” at the top of the screen.
- Tap “Manage reservation” and select the reservation you want to modify.
- Then scroll down and click on the “Edit” button and change the date and time or pick-up and drop-off location.
- Confirm the changes by tapping “Cancel”.
“Renter’s name” can only be edited on the iOS device.
To modify your reservation (Android):
- You must contact the car rental company to modify your reservation. In the “FAQs” option of the app, you will be able to obtain the contact details of the car rental company.
- If you want to do it in the Uber app, you can cancel the reservation and set the new dates. Just keep in mind that if you have already paid for your reservation and there are less than 48 hours left to pick up the car, a cancellation fee may apply. If you choose the “postpaid” mode and you are going to pay at the counter, we suggest you cancel the reservation with more than 48 hours left to pick up the car and you may create a new one in the app.
To cancel your reservation:
- Select the “Car hire” option.
- Click “Your reservations” at the top of the screen.
- Tap “Review reservation” and select the reservation you would like to cancel.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap “Cancel reservation”.
Please note that if you cancel within 48 hours before the start of the car rental, a cancellation fee may apply. Once the 48-hour cancellation period expires, no cancellations are possible. If you are paying over the counter, you may cancel the reservation with more than 48 hours left to pick up the car, and you may create a new one.
Once the reservation is canceled, you can make a new reservation if needed.
