FAQ’s - Cash trips and pending amounts of Fleet Partners

How often do I have to pay Uber?

Every time your fleet exceeds the amount of debts allowed in your city, you will receive a notification from Uber requesting your payment. If you don’t receive a notification, you can cover the outstanding balance displayed on wallet.uber.com as many times as you like.

After making the payment of a debt, how long will it take to be reflected in my balance?

The payment will be reflected within a maximum period of 72 hours. If it is not reflected, you can contact us through the “Help” section.

If you are a Fleet Partner who also drives and you received an email from Uber or a notification in your Driver application requesting to cover an outstanding amount, we suggest you do it as soon as possible so that the payment is reflected and that your fleet can continue completing trips.

Can you deactivate my account if I don’t pay?

Having a negative balance may result in deactivation or restriction of cash trip requests for Drivers linked to your account.

Can a Driver with a negative balance leave my fleet?

Yes, it is possible. Remember that negative balances are the responsibility of the Fleet Partner. Uber cannot be held responsible for financial agreements between Fleet Partners and Drivers. Therefore, we recommend that you reach an agreement with the Drivers for the handling of cash and the collection of debits from your account as soon as possible. This way you avoid generating negative balances in your account.

What is the minimum amount to pay for my account to remain active?

Once the payment process has started, you will see the minimum amount on the “Payment details” screen. The minimum amount may be equal to or less than the total debt.

What happens if the User pays a different amount than the one shown in the application?

At the end of the trip, the Driver will see the amount that must be charged to the User. If the User pays a higher or lower amount, it must be recorded at the time of collection. It is advisable to bring some change to ensure a good User experience.

Do tolls generate a debt?

When a toll or surcharge is collected during the trip, this amount is automatically added to the fare. Tolls are charged to Users and refunded to you in your weekly earnings statement. Tolls do not apply the Uber service fee.

When and where will I receive my earnings?

Payments are calculated weekly with cutoffs on Mondays at 4:00 a. m. This means that any trips taken after that cycle ends will appear on your earnings statement for the following week. In your Supplier Portal you can know your balance. If you want to know more about the Supplier Portal, visit our blog.

The weekly payment should be deposited into your bank account every Tuesday, but may be delayed due to bank processing times or holidays.
