It is possible to change the payment method for a trip only if you paid for it with an electronic method such as: credit cards, debit cards, Uber Cash, or PayPal. This means that if your trip was paid for in cash, the option to change it to card or any other electronic payment method will not be available and vice versa.

If the trip was made less than 30 days ago and you used an electronic payment method, you can change the payment method by following these steps:

1. Open the Uber app and tap the menu icon.
2. Enter the YOUR TRIPS option and select the trip you want to change.
3. Tap GET RIDING HELP.
4. In the option WAS THE ABOVE INFORMATION USEFUL? Select NO.
5. Select CHANGE PAYMENT METHOD FOR A PREVIOUS TRIP.
6. Select CHANGE PAYMENT METHOD FOR TRIP.
7. Tap NEXT.
8. Choose the new payment method you want to use and touch NEXT.

TRIP PAID IN CASH
If you requested a cash trip by mistake and did not make the payment at the end of the trip, the Driver Partner will let us know from their application and a debit will be generated in your account.
