Uber Seu Preço is a way in which you can negotiate the value of your trip with the driver based on the values ​​suggested by Uber.

HOW IT WORKS?

When selecting the Uber Seu Preço option, you will see a price suggested by Uber on your app screen, as well as other price options, both higher and lower, so you can choose the amount you are willing to pay.

After submitting your offer, the closest drivers will be able to review it, accept it, reject it or send a counteroffer. When the driver sends a counteroffer, you will be able to check all the information through the app, such as: the price of the counteroffer made by the driver, their vehicle and the estimated time to reach your destination.

Then, when offers or counteroffers are accepted, the experience will be the same as the UberX modality, but without the possibility of changing the destination or adding stops as the agreed value will refer to the route initially requested. Therefore, please ensure you enter the correct locations before completing your trip request.

HOW LONG WILL THE OFFER AND COUNTEROFFER BE VALID AND WHAT HAPPENS IF NO DRIVER ACCEPTS IT?

Your offer will be available to drivers for up to 30 seconds. The higher your offer, the faster and greater the chances of drivers accepting.

Also, if you receive counteroffers, each one will be available for 30 seconds for you to accept or reject.

I CANNOT REQUEST AN UBER TRIP SEU PREÇO. WHAT SHOULD BE DONE?

It is possible that this inconvenience is due to the fact that you do not have the latest available version of the app or it is not yet available to you and/or the product is not yet available in your city.

Updates to our software are available frequently in the iOS and Android app stores to offer the best possible experience, so we recommend that you keep it updated to avoid errors during your experience with the app.

IN WHICH CITIES IS IT AVAILABLE?

Uber Seu Preço is currently only available in some cities in Brazil. Check if this option is available in your app. We hope to expand to new cities soon.

HOW DO I REQUEST AN UBER SEU PREÇO TRIP?

To request an Uber Seu Preço trip, follow these steps in your app:

1. Open the Uber app and enter your destination location.
2. Select the “Uber Seu Preço” modality.
3. Confirm your departure location in the app and click on “Confirm Pickup”.
4. On the “Set your price” screen, choose the price you want to pay for the trip and then click the “Submit” button.
5. If you prefer, activate the button to automatically accept a nearby driver who agrees with your offer and click “Save”.
6. Tap the “Submit” button to complete your trip request.

While waiting for your driver, you will be able to follow the route in real time to your departure location.
