When you place an order, you are asked to provide instructions for what to do if an item is out-of-stock or unavailable. In your app, please be sure to edit replacement or note depending on your preference. You can edit your preferences before placing your order and confirm they’re correct before check-out. Here are the options you can pick:

  • Replace with any similar item
    • The app will offer up items for replacement based on customer data and previous preferences.
  • Require my approval
    • The shopper will not be able to replace the item without your approval, so be sure to have notifications on during shopping.
    • If you do not respond while the courier is shopping, the item will be refunded.
  • I’ll choose replacements
    • You will select the specific replacement item.
    • You can select up to 5 replacements if the item is out of stock.
  • Don’t replace; refund
    • You can select this option if you prefer to receive a refund instead of a replacement item.

Please note that the Merchant or Shopper may reach out to you during your shopping process. Please be available to approve or reject the replacement items.
