Starting May 28, 2025, riders will be charged an “Uber Administration Fee” ranging from $4 to $10 per trip (not applicable to TPE airport pickup and Uber Taxi rides). The “Uber Administration Fee” will be included in the upfront pricing displayed before you book a trip.
The “Uber Administration Fee” will be collected by Uber Formosa Co., Ltd. This new fee will enable us to continue improving the Uber experience, including but not limited to partnerships, administrative services, and promotions. For details, please refer to the Terms and Conditions.
The Uber Administration Fee applies to Multi-Purpose Taxi trips. Multi-Purpose Taxi trips include UberX, Uber Comfort, Uber Green, Uber Pet, UberXL, Uber XXL, Uber Black, Uber Car Seat, Assist, and Uber Business Comfort, Comfort Electric.
